Emma joined Willis Towers Watson in February 2019 as the Global Director of Procurement for Travel, Expense and Meetings & Events. Within this capacity Emma leads a team responsible for all travel categories including Air, Hotel, Ground transportation, Meetings & Events, Card, Policies and Expenses with global expenditure circa $250M. Emma’s focus is to challenge the status quo; drive innovation and a team culture in order to flourish whilst building trust and authenticity with stakeholders and suppliers.

Prior to joining WTW, Emma was the Vice President of Sales at Virgin Atlantic where she was responsible for the B2B Corporate, TMC, Consumer and Sales Operations teams. Prior to that role, Emma was the EMEIA Travel Leader at EY (Ernst & Young) where she was responsible for managing £500m in annual travel spend as well as accountability for major initiatives to improve effectiveness and efficiency of the travel management function.

Emma has over 22 years of highly-relevant travel experience and has gained great insight into the complex world of business travel from her 11 years working with British Airways in various commercial roles as well as 5 years at HRG managing global customers including GSK and Credit Suisse.

Emma holds a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages from Manchester Metropolitan University. Emma lives in Surrey and is married with one son and two dogs.
